Transformative Leadership Project
In Dr. Gabbard's class, my group has decided to do the transformative leadership project. The basis of our project is a sort of mentoring program for incoming students to the college's education program. We will give these students insight into what they should expect in reference to their major. I feel this is good experience for our group, and we wish to establish a long lasting program at ECU. We would like for the people we are mentoring to take our places when we are gone and do the same for the new incoming students. This is a sort of orientation program. But it is more detailed and personal. We can all get together and answer any questions and problems that they might have. It seems like a very exciting project that we are all ready to get started on. I would really appreciate any feedback or ideas about this project from all.

Awesome
I wish I would have had a mentor when I came to ECU. I had no idea what I was getting my self into. And until recently, I had no clue all that ELEM EDUC majors had to do. This would be a great project started. I think you should push the issue. Maybe you can get something started and help the future students that come to ECU!
I think that this project
I think that this project will be very beneficial. I think that this will help clear up so many issues students face! I know I had many questions when I declared my major and I had no idea who to talk to! With this project I think that students will be able to feel more comfortable with their decisions! Good Luck!

I think this is a great
I think this is a great idea, I wish that I would have had more guidance coming into the program as a freshman, because I didn't switch to the College of Education until the end of that year. It would have been nice to have a group to turn to that would set me straight on what I would get out of my major in Education.
