I was reading an article on the Education World website by Regina Barreca about the children who misbehave and cause conflict in the classroom. In her article Regina explores the question: “What can be done when you have The Kid you can’t stand?” In my practicum’s I have experienced this issue many times. I have visited many classrooms and seen many kids teachers can’t stand. The alarming thing is that I have had several teachers verbally express to me their dislike for the student who misbehaves and causes conflict. The Importance of Parent Involvment

I am a junior at East Carolina University majoring in elementary education. I am seeking the answer to one question in particular at the moment. Our teachers here at ECU never touch on this subject and maybe it is because no one knows the answer. Thus I am seeking responses from teachers around the nation who maybe have an opinion or idea they can offer.
