Parents
Posted December 4th, 2007 by dmf0521Parents need to support their children's schooling by attending all obligated functions. Parents need to be there for their children outside of school and offer help with school work so the children know that they have encouragement. I feel that many parents do not know how to do these type of things or just do not care, and sometimes children do not have close relationships with their parents. The lack of help from the parents outside of school can cause a student to become disorganized and fall behind. How as teachers can we help these students with parents who CHOOSE to be uninvolved?
Elem Ed
Posted November 12th, 2007 by dmf0521I am a sophmore at East Carolina University. I am currently in the class EDUC 3220, Intro to American Education. Everyday in class we learn from eachother by discussing and listening to eachothers opinons on the assigned readings. In class we had a lecture about Neo- Conservative and Neoliberalism instead of getting in groups. I still confused, Id like to understand, help?
